Day #1  -  Just began building this 12' x 16' deck with a 2' bumpout.  Got the framing, and the 4" x 4" posts installed so far.  Should have it completed in another couple of days.  Want to give credit where credit is due...this customer opted to do his own demo, and he did a very good job.  Doing your own demo does save the customer money..so invite your family over, supply the cheeseburgers, and have yourself a demo party.  Keep checking back for the day by day construction, and completion of this current project.

Just finished up a 12' x 14' treated lumber deck with a 4' x 9' bumpout with clipped corners. Recessed steps 3'6" wide with 2" x 10" treads, routed all 4 sides. 4" x 4" posts thru bolted to the frame with 2" x 4" top and bottom rail.  A 2" x 6" rail cap with a radius routed edge.  Black aluminum, 26" 3/4 round spindles courtesy of American One Fence and Railing.  All treated lumber is Southern Yellow Pine #1 purchased at McCabe Lumber from our salesman, Rick Wedding,   Go visit Rick at McCabe and let him help you pick out your decking materials, then give us a call for a free estimate!

Just finished a 12' x 24' treated lumber deck.  I like the little nook at the back door....would be a nice area for a small bench or some plant accents.  That nook also has a cut corner, which gives it an irregular, but eye-catching angle.  This deck also has a rail cap .......as you see in the photo, the railing is all finished off with a 2" x 6" handrail the enitre perimeter of the deck.  No posts, nor post caps are above the railing.  The decking floor is also spliced down the middle with a 5/4" x 6" x 12' decking board which helps with the framing, and is also appealing to the eye.  The Southern Yellow Treated Pine #1 was purchased from our salesman, Rick Wedding, at McCabe Lumber.  Go visit Rick, and let him help you pick out your decking materials.  Then fill out the information form on this website, or give us a call for your free estimate.

Just finished installing this Timbertech Radiance Rail in Coast White, and replaced some of the fascia boards on the steps.  The fascia is Azek PVC in the Silver Oak color.  This white railing just sets the home off, and makes that porch very inviting....as in invite me over to have a cup of coffee out there one morning!  All of the materials installed here can be purchased at McCabe Lumber.  Go visit their showroom, and ask for our salesman, Rick Wedding.  He would be more than happy to help you pick out your deck or porch materials.  Then call us for a free estimate!

Almost finished with this 10' x 47'  patio level deck.  Just need a few finishing touches, but couldn't wait to show you this view!  Not only would I be drinking my coffee while looking out over the river, but would pull my bed out there and snooze as well.  All treated lumber materials purchased at McCabe Lumber, courtesy of our salesman, Rick Wedding.  You know you need one of these.....so call us for a free estimate or fill out the information form on this website, or just give us a call!

Just completed construction on this 14' x 20' deck with clipped corners.  The clipped corners add a nice irregular shape to the deck, and the customers opted to use the round, black, aluminum balusters instead of the classic 2" x 2" wood balusters.  I think they add a classy touch to any wood railing system.  All of the decking, railing, and framing is Southern Yellow Treated Pine #1, courtesy of our salesman, Rick Wedding at McCabe Lumber.  The aluminum balusters came from American One Fence and Railing in Royalton.  Give us a call for a free estimate or fill out the contact form on this site!

Just finished this 16' x 20' floating/freestanding patio deck, with a 3' x 4' platform step.  The customer also wanted  2, 6' x 4' privacy panels, with 3/4" horizontal and vertical, heavy duty lattice....better for growing vines.  The planter box to the right outside of the deck, is 4' wide x 5'7" long x 2' high.  We did order a small pool liner to place in the bottom with some scrap composite.  This will help with the moisture when watering the plants inside of the box, and will prolong it's lifespan.  Southern Yellow treated pine #1 was the material used for all aspects of this project.  You can find this wood, and other decking materials at McCabe Lumber.  Ask for Rick Wedding, our salesman, and he will be happy to help you.  Then give us a call for a free estimate!
