I like to remind everyone from time to time about the importance of Habitat Restore. You will find in the list below all the reasons to use Restore.

ReStore is a “win-win” venture for all:

• Homeowners and landlords in need of low cost materials can
  purchase what they need to improve their homes, thereby improving their
  neighborhood, building community pride, increasing property values, and
  creating safer, more stable communities.
• Tons of re-useable materials find new life, rather than create pollution and waste in landfills.

• Donors may be eligible for a tax deduction.
• Habitat for Humanity raises funds to build new homes in the community.

If you are doing a home improvement project this winter please remember that your slightly used materials can be donated to your local Habitat Restore. Just give them a call and they will come take these building materials off your hands. If your are located outside of the Holland, Michigan market check with your local habitat office for more details.
